The Southside Shuffle, a blues and jazz festival that has been entertaining Port Credit since 1999, returns to the Port Credit Memorial Park for its 21st anniversary from September 6 to 8.
It started with founder and artistic director Chuck Jackson’s vision and passion to bring the blues to Port Credit. Though it began with four bands, one stage and 2,300 people, it now draws over 75,000 people and encompasses four stages over three days. Two stages are free to the public and two are paid admission stages.
The festival was honoured by the Mississauga Arts Council in 2018 with the MARTY award for Mississauga’s Best Festival.
